Meet Brandon Dawson, DMD
Dr. Brandon Dawson was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from Arizona State University, a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, and his dental degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. He graduated in the top 10% of his dental class and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Dawson is a general dentist who provides dental sleep medicine and oral appliance therapy. He is a Member, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and pursues continuing education and mentorship in the field. He works with physicians to tailor care to each patient’s diagnosis, preferences, dental condition, and ability to use treatment consistently. Learn about the AADSM.
Outside the office, Dr. Dawson enjoys spending time with his wife, Alyssa, and their family. They enjoy being outdoors, riding bikes, and taking day trips in northern Arizona.
Dr. Dawson’s approach to oral appliance therapy is collaborative. The medical provider diagnoses obstructive sleep apnea and verifies treatment effectiveness. Dr. Dawson manages the dental evaluation, appliance selection, calibration, side effects, and long-term dental follow-up.

Treatment begins with a careful evaluation of the teeth, bite, and jaw joints. When appropriate, Dr. Dawson provides a custom, titratable mandibular advancement device and adjusts it over time for comfort and effectiveness.
A Collaborative Treatment Process
PAP remains highly effective and should continue when it is working well. Oral appliance therapy offers an evidence-based option for appropriate adults who cannot tolerate PAP or prefer an alternative. Restful Sleep Center coordinates with the patient’s medical provider for diagnosis and verification of treatment effectiveness.
